what is media?

Media is communication. It is presenting something to a targeted audience in which they can then take it in and via certain types of media. For example they can be shown through social media such as Instagram Facebook and snapchat, this is called web based media. They are shown via audio and videos but mainly reading up online about it all and what you are wanting to read in general. However web based media can be very bias because of sites such as Wikipedia that can be changed and altered to make a bias opinion. The whole idea of media is to communicate and to inform the audience. Print media is about using information to inform the audience via TV magazines and newspapers. They use codes and conventions on their media devices (newspaper etc.) to make it a lot easier to read and understand to the reader. These print Medias can also be bias such as newspapers like the sun. they were very bias towards the police force in the Hillsborough tragedy. Media can inform people via entertainment due to one sided propaganda for example political parties.

  1. Compared to the first draft this is fairly similar, you have expanded on some point from draft one to improve but then have removed or narrowed other point down at re draft. remains a C response - a fair attempt at initial ideas of what media may be.
